Stephen Sipola, Executive Vice President and Managing Director, Business Banking Group of Astoria Bank has been named Chairman of the American Heart Association’s 2015 Long Island Heart Walk. This year’s walk will be taking place on Sunday, September 20th at Jones Beach in Wantagh.
Prior to joining Astoria Bank in 2011, Mr. Sipola was employed as a senior officer at North Fork Bank with responsibilities that included sourcing and underwriting loans for Middle Market companies in the New York Metro area. He serves as a Trustee of the Long Island Home. He is also a member of the Long Island Association’s board of directors, the American Heart Association’s board of directors, and is on the Council of Overseers for Tilles Center
